Unfortunately, this reality affects 3.6 million individuals who are unable to receive the medical attention they need due to lack of transportation resources.
For patients prescribed Long-Acting Injectables (LAI’s) for serious mental health or substance abuse conditions, missing their monthly appointment due to transportation barriers could have devastating consequences.
In our quest to harness technology for the greater social good, we uncovered a crucial roadblock for many patients trying to access healthcare: transportation. This challenge hits hardest for those in low-income communities and those without insurance. To tackle this issue head-on, we’ve secured funding to help eligible patients with their transportation needs. Our mission is to empower organizations and healthcare professionals with the resources they need to offer affordable and dependable transportation options for their patients. With these transportation funds, we aim to break down the barriers and open up a world of accessible healthcare for all.
